Table List Fails to Load When Adding Tables to a Channel

Issue

While adding a table to a channel, the table list fails to load or takes a long time to appear.

Environment

  • DSS version: 6.2.0/16
  • Source database: MySQL

Resolution

To resolve this issue, set the following environmental variables, then re-activate the channel:

  • /Name=DSS_TABLEEXPLORE_WHERE_IN /Value=1000
  • /Name=DSS_TABLEEXPLORE_WHERE_NONE /Value=all

If the issue persists, also set the following:

  • /Name=DSS_TABLEEXPLORE_TEMPTAB_INSIST /Value=1

If the problem continues after setting these parameters, capture the slow-running query from the DSS logs, save it to a text file, and contact our support team.
