Error: F_JG200A: SIGSEGV While Connecting to Databricks

Issue

While connecting to Databricks, the following error appears:

F_JG200A: SIGSEGV

Environment

• DSS 6 version 6.1.0/61 or later
• Databricks
• SIMBA Spark ODBC Driver

Resolution

If you are using the SIMBA Spark 2.7.7 ODBC driver, upgrade to version 2.8.0 or later, or downgrade to an earlier supported version.

If you are not using this driver version, contact our support team with the crash report.

Cause

The SIMBA Spark 2.7.7 ODBC driver causes DSS to crash when connecting to Databricks clusters. This issue was fixed in version 2.8.0.
